The Federal Ministry informs

In an ordinance dated June 18, 2020, the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) provides information on the ban on placing certain single-use plastic products and products made of oxo-degradable plastic on the market. In short: Single-Use Plastic Ban Ordinance - EWKVerbotsV.

Deadline

This will come into force uniformly in Europe on July 3, 2021.
