The Material

Packaging, presenting and preparing convenience food in the best possible way.

These trays have the required properties for the convenience food sector due to the crystalline polyethylene terephthalate (CPET) used. This material is produced on the basis of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. Due to the crystalline structure of the material, the trays are particularly dimensionally stable even at high temperatures.

The materials used offer the possibility to use the tray in a temperature range from -40°C to +220°C. This allows the products to be heated in the oven or microwave. A special coating of the trays made of amorphous polyethylene terephthalate (APET) gives the tray a beautiful and shiny appearance on the one hand, but on the other hand it offers a particularly good sealing ability as its main property. In addition to these advantages, trays made of CPET material offer a particularly good barrier against oxygen, water, carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

The application

With the help of our WEBAseal PP Fine food trays you can easily and safely pack and transport a wide variety of food products. The high-quality trays are primarily characterised by their high dimensional stability which, compared to competing products, prevents these trays from being easily dented. Thus, within this series, even large trays are particularly strong and of high quality.

The simple sealing with a film makes these trays quickly leak-proof. The trays can also be closed with a lid. You can also use this in addition to the sealing, so that your product is particularly well protected. At the same time, the lid ensures that the individual trays can be stacked optimally.

The material

Leak-proof sealable and suitable for direct hot filling.

Our WEBAseal EPS foam shells are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS). Thanks to their good sealing properties, these trays can easily be closed to form a leak-proof packaging solution and are particularly light and at the same time very stable.

The different tray shapes have rounded edges and a smooth surface. The foamed material is odourless.

These white trays are available in various designs: As a menu bowl with different sized divisions or as a simple bowl with one chamber.

The application

Sealing film standard (Seal-proof)

Sealing film Peel (Peelable)

This type of sealing film is particularly firmly attached to the sealing tray and is particularly suitable for pasteurisation and hot filling. It is available for all our trays. Attention: This film must be cut open and cannot be removed by hand.

WEBAseal Sealing film Peel can be easily removed by hand. The special coating enables the sealing tray to be opened very easily. This type of film is available for all our trays.

Sealing film Antifog (Seal-proof)

Sealing film Premium (Peelable)

Antifog sealing films prevent fogging even with temperature differences, so that no condensation water settles on the inside of the film. This sealing film is therefore transparent at all times and your product is clearly visible. Attention: This film must be cut open and cannot be removed by hand.

Our Premium sealing films offer you the optimum combination of peelability and antifog effect. With this film your product is visible at all times and can be opened easily.

Sealing film aluminium

Sealing films made of aluminium offer you optimal insulation for our WEBAfilm EPS foam trays. Here the hot filled food stays warm for a particularly long time

Our WEBAseal sealing device S is the perfect starter model for the sealing of smaller sealing trays up to a tray size of 200 x 150 mm.

We offer you high quality WEBAfilm sealing devices in connection with a good and regular service. So you not only get a long-lasting sealing machine but also perfect reliability. Stress-free, fast and without loss of work. We make this possible with our maintenance contract, especially for our WEBAfilm devices. We remember to check the machine before rush hours, so that your machine does not have to stop working during Easter or Christmas.

If there is a defect on your machine, the process from pickup to exchange for a loaner machine up to repair is structured and planned by us. It is very important to us that you receive your device back as quickly and stress-free as possible without having to accept major work stoppages.

But not only this service is included in the maintenance contract. Also included are:

Are there problems with the device?

No problem - neither for you nor for us. We take care of everything!

If you have spare parts that you would like to replace yourself, you can order them quickly and easily by telephone. But we also offer you a complete and competent service for repairs.

You have discovered that your device has a defect that cannot be repaired independently? Please contact our equipment department! They will clarify the basic data with you and send you a repair order by fax or e-mail. Your device will not be repaired on site, but will find its way to our repair workshop through a safe transport box. We have chosen this way to be able to react faster. In addition, this solution is cheaper for you - typically Swabian. Here we have all spare parts and can carry out relevant measurements. Your device is professionally cleaned in a machine specially designed by us. Fast reaction? Exactly. Because a transport box is sent to you as soon as you order the repair. This will be equipped with a loaner device as you wish or is empty, in case a loaner device is not necessary for you. As soon as the box has arrived at your premises, the replacement unit can be removed if necessary and your unit packed. After a short information to our equipment department we will pick up the box together with the equipment. Of course you have the possibility to be informed about the costs of the repair by a cost estimate.

After repair, the device returns to the transport box. The devices are exchanged again and the loaner device or the empty transport box is collected by us again. Thus you have little effort and a fast solution for the repair of your devices.

We currently offer three different versions. Whether undivided or in several parts; all variants can be filled hot and are suitable for preparation in the oven or microwave. A safe transport is guaranteed due to the sealing. Delicious dishes and ready-made menus are thus securely packaged, attractively presented and easily warmed up and ready to eat. Undivided sealing trays are particularly suitable as transport packaging and offer the most application possibilities. Multi-part trays are perfect for prepared menus - whether chilled or hot filled. They are heat-resistant and suitable for the preparation of the filled food in the oven (up to a maximum of 120°C), and in the microwave. Furthermore, they are suitable for freezing up to a temperature of -40°C. The surface is fat resistant and moisture stable, so that you can fill in any kind of food without any problems.

Due to the natural raw material, slight changes in colour or slight shadows may occur, which never affect the quality or product safety.

WHAT IS BAGASSE?

Environmentally friendly

A natural alternative to other sealing bowls that is worth seeing.

Sugar cane fibres that remain after the sugar cane juice has been pressed are called bagasse. In the past, bagasse was burned mainly as a waste product. Today it is considered a valuable raw material for compostable packaging.

Approximately 10 tons of sugar cane produce about 1,000 kg sugar and 3,400 kg bagasse. After pressing, the bagasse fibres are stored in water to remove any remaining sugar residues. The bagasse fibres are then processed into a pulpy mass. This is then poured into moulds and pressed into packaging at high temperature.

No additional cultivation areas are required for bagasse. This is a sustainable alternative that completely complies with the cradle-to-cradle principle.

Honestly informed, of course

Honest information instead of "greenwashing" and "advertising blah-blah"!

In addition to the advantages, we would of course also like to inform you about the weaknesses of the respective packaging material compared to other materials. The natural material bagasse shows losses in the following aspects:

Faster discoloration in sunlight.
The material has a limited temperature resistance up to a maximum of 120 °C
