Implementing Best Practices
It specifically promotes the exchange of experience among the movers and shakers in the catering and industry at eye level, practical, topic-oriented, stimulating and trend-setting.
We bring together colleagues - in the sense of best practice transfer - who have already solved their problem and help with questions about new products, concepts and general conditions.

JunE 2004
Foundation of ERFA Gastronomie in amusement parks; kick-off meeting was on the island of Mainau.
Conceived as a rather private project for the exchange of experiences of the participants, this network developed into a constant in the market and appointment calendar. Whether Heidepark Soltau, Freizeitpark Rust or Nürburgring, whether Hamburg, Munich or Haßloch - Michael Möhring has been organising varied meetings at the who-is-who of the industry for years.
The focus is always on the exchange with top experts and successful market participants as well as informative tours and sufficient time for networking among each other.
Based on the needs of the network participants, we develop interesting and practice-oriented expert discussions, experience exchange meetings, workshops, and seminars, which are conducted by competent experts.
– Michael Möhring
FebruarY 2014
Building on this experience, Michael Möhring and Thomas Drick founded the ERFA Foodservice Product Development network. Kick-off was the "product developer breakfast" at INTERGASTRA in Stuttgart.
Makers from the catering trade and industry meet here at eye level. The meetings, workshops and lectures are practice-oriented, impulse-giving and theme-oriented.
The events serve the constructive exchange of experience between those responsible for product development (menu, menu, assortment) from the catering industry and those responsible for operations from the industry. The focus is on the goal of a demand-oriented and successful product development.
ErfaFoodService offers, among other things, the possibility of bringing you together with absolutely specialised manufacturers, suppliers, potential customers and service providers on request, which is particularly needed when creating, specialising or optimising existing catering concepts.

This means that the expertise of the individual members does not end at the limit of their own possibilities, but provides comprehensive assistance to you as the client in the planning of objects or projects. For you, this means much more effective and targeted advice and support.
The participating companies cover all areas required in the hotel and catering industry, in communal and company catering. This applies on the one hand to the food sector and on the other hand to the non-food sector.

naturstrom – Clear. Clear. Economical. Civic.
Since its foundation in 1998, naturstrom has been promoting a clean, safe and economic energy supply based on renewable energies - together with us: the local citizens and companies. Clean energy is an indispensable basis for this.
MOTIVATION
The energy supply in Germany is still predominantly based on fossil and nuclear fuels - determined by a few large energy companies. As an independent and sustainable energy supplier, naturstrom has therefore been consistently driving forward the supply of energy from renewable sources for over 20 years - with sustainable and innovative offers in the areas of green electricity, heat and e-mobility. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
100 % renewable energies from decentralized eco-power plants.
The advantages of decentralised energy system transformation:
Value creation remains in the region
regional economy is strengthened
Jobs are created and secured
Energy supply becomes more secure, environmentally friendly and democratic
Electricity grids are relieved and new power lines are superfluous

On 1st January 2017, the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), founded in 1982, and the Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE), founded in 1998, officially became one organization – SCA Deutschland.
International exchange on a national level - that is what distinguishes the individual foreign divisions of SCA. In addition to the association's headquarters near London, SCA's work is shaped by more than 30 other branch offices in Europe and Asia, including the German division. With its own board of directors, consisting of experienced coffee experts, the team accompanies and organizes topics such as training, meetings of regional groups and events in Germany.
A special highlight is the German Coffee Championships organised annually by the German SCA. These are the German Coffee Championships, where coffee experts can compete in seven disciplines. The German championships are sought in the areas of barista, latte art, roasting, brewing, cupping, coffee in good spirit and Chezve/Ibrik. The respective winners will have the honour of representing Germany at the World Championships and will thus have the chance to compete for the biggest title at international level.
The championships, both national and international, are appreciated by both participants and visitors not only because of the event character. The events bring together important groups of people from the entire coffee industry and thus offer the rare opportunity to make new contacts and maintain old ones in a small space and in a short time.
The maintenance of a successful network for speciality coffees is just as much a priority for SCA Deutschland as the continuous training and further qualification of interested groups of people. The aim is to make speciality coffee even better known in Germany and to professionalise the handling of this fascinating product. From sourcing and roasting to the right milk foam in the cappuccino – the right coffee preparation is a science in itself. This is why SCA is an excellent institution for all those who want to work with coffee in a professional manner.
