The Material

The composite material made of paper coated with polyethylene (PE) and aluminium offers you the best properties for packing and transporting your fish safely and freshly. Thanks to the best possible combination with aluminium, this packaging material has the highest barrier properties. The odour neutrality is particularly appreciated by customers in the fish sector. But of course, aroma protection also goes hand in hand with it. Products are excellently protected and prevented from drying out by the residual air content.

This all-rounder can of course be used to store the product. You can store your high-quality product in this packaging for up to 24 hours or even freeze it without the need for time-consuming repackaging. 

These excellent barrier properties can only be achieved by combining it with aluminium. We can take away the worry that your product comes into contact with aluminium for you and your customers. Due to the paper-coated inside, the filled products do not come into contact with aluminium. 

And the environmental aspect? WEBAfilm Alpamer Film offers the best properties to pack food products and to guarantee a longer shelf life. Properly disposed of, aluminium can be recycled almost 100 percent and can be reused almost without loss of quality.

Our tubular films made of natural brown kraft paper are available in unprinted optics, with neutral print or with your design.

You can easily cut your desired format and choose the optimal size for each product to save film. You have the choice between our standard and our compostable version.

As a neutral motif, both versions show different illustrations of high-quality food products. In addition, the most important information on the respective packaging properties is shown on the side margin.

You can also obtain our standard version with PE inner coating with the same print also as prefabricated bags in different sizes.

THE MATERIAL

Internally coated, natural brown kraft paper from sustainable forestry makes this variant sealable and leak-proof.

These tubular films consist of a composite of polyethylene (PE) and unbleached kraft paper. The paper comes from sustainable forestry and is certified according to the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC). The respective inner coating makes the tubular film a leak-proof and sealable packaging solution.

WEBAfilm Kraftpapier offers an alternative to a sealable film made of aluminium compound. With its natural appearance and sustainable look this series meets the trend of the time. Last but not least you save further additional packaging like wrapping paper, paper bags or plastic bags. Your product can be transported leak-proof into the household of your customers. Your customer can cut open the sealed bag and remove the product easily and cleanly. Remaining goods can be resealed by wrapping or wrapping the packaging so that the products can be stored in this way.

In comparison to a sealable aluminium compound film, the cold insulation and barrier properties, such as odour neutrality and aroma protection, cannot be fully guaranteed with this series. Nevertheless, WEBAfilm kraft paper films offer the best possible properties of a paper compound film.

We recommend this packaging solution especially for high-quality products such as meat or sausage, ham and cheese products. Also the packaging of fish is possible with WEBAfilm Kraftpapier.

The underlying film for this packaging variant consists of a composite of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC) certified kraft paper and an inner PE coating. If no sealing device is available, the variant with adhesive seal can be used as an alternative.

Thanks to the neutral motif, the bags can be used in all areas of application. Whether for high-quality smoked fish products, sausage and raw ham products, cheese or dry aged beef – everything is possible.

Available in two sizes, the bag can be closed and sealed leak-proof. Products weighing up to 2 kilograms can thus be stored in a cold-insulated environment. The "fish with cap" design has been a cult motif since 2002.  The french-looking illustration was created by our longtime employee Francois Chosson. It convinces by its high individuality and creates a high recognition value. Especially within the fresh fish counters this motive is hardly to be imagined without. This motif is available from us as a stock item, so you can call up this packaging solution at any time. Especially for our Edeka customers we offer two variants of neutral motifs: The design "We love food" is one of our stock items and is inexpensive and available very quickly. 

In addition to the simple and fast processing, you have the advantage that the minimum order quantity is only one roll. As a second option you can choose a neutral motif in combination with your logo. This variant is available from an order quantity of 20 to 40 rolls within a production period of about 4 to 6 weeks after approval for printing. You can choose our neutral motifs for the original Alpamer film and for our white kraft paper films.

The manufactured films are stored for a maximum of 12 months, so that they can now be called off by you as required within a short delivery time. Once the framework for the concept has been established, the next step is to create a printable motif for your individual print. On the one hand, we offer the possibility to provide you with all relevant information so that your graphic designer can create a printable file for us. Either way: Once the printing approval has been given, you can start printing the foils. The production time is 4 to 6 weeks depending on the product. 

Depending on the purchase agreement, you will receive the complete product, or we will take over the storage for you. Partial call-offs are usually stored at WEBER. From this point on, the goods can be withdrawn by you in pre-defined or demand-oriented call-offs.

WEBAfilm Roll holder

Our roll holder offers you a wide range of possibilities for space-saving work due to different mounting variants. This separate holder can be attached to the table surface as well as to the wall. The non-slip stand offers optimal working conditions, especially when standing on the table surface. Completely made of stainless steel, this unit offers cleanliness and hygiene due to its easy cleaning. WEBAfilm Hose pack

The sealing device WEBAseal Schlauchpack is adapted to the use of tubular films. This larger device is already equipped with an integrated roll holder. The lateral turning handle transports the film into the sealing device, adjusted to your desired length for your packaging. When the handle is pressed down, the film is cut off and simultaneously sealed on one side by the heated sealing bar. The finished film bag can then be filled with your product immediately in front of your customers. The fourth side, which is still open, is then inserted into the device and sealed aroma-tight by pressing the handle. Within a very short time, this innovative and inexpensive packaging can also be used at your counter.

You can only get a few used devices from us. Our equipment can be easily maintained or repaired, and thus have an exemplary service life.

If you have spare parts that you would like to replace yourself, you can order them quickly and easily by telephone. But we also offer you a complete and competent service for repairs. You have discovered that your device has a defect that cannot be repaired by yourself? 

Please contact our equipment department! They will clarify the key data with you and send you a repair order by fax or e-mail. Your device will not be repaired on site, but will find its way to our repair workshop through a safe transport box. We have chosen this way to be able to react faster. In addition, this solution is cheaper for you - typically Swabian. Here we have all spare parts and can carry out relevant measurements. Your device is professionally cleaned in a machine specially designed by us. Fast reaction? Exactly.

Because a transport box is sent to you as soon as you order the repair. This will be equipped with a loaner device as you wish or is empty, in case a loaner device is not necessary for you. As soon as the box has arrived at your premises, the replacement unit can be removed if necessary and your unit packed. After a short information to our equipment department we will pick up the box together with the equipment. Of course you have the possibility to be informed about the costs of the repair by a cost estimate. After the repair, the device will be returned in the transport box. 

The devices will be exchanged again and the loaner device or the empty transport box will be picked up by us. Thus you have little effort and a fast solution for the repair of your devices.

We make this possible with our maintenance contract, especially for our WEBAfilm devices. We remember to check the machine before rush hours, so that your machine does not have to stop working during Easter or Christmas. If there is a defect on your machine, the procedure from pickup to exchange against a rental machine up to repair is structured and planned by us. It is very important to us that you receive your device back as quickly and stress-free as possible without having to accept major work stoppages.
