The printing process that makes your packaging appear in an individual light is called In-Mould-Labelling or IML process for short. This sophisticated process has many advantages. The term 'In-Mould' is explained by the fact that the pre-printed labels are inserted into the injection mould, and the labelling process therefore takes place during the production of the cup.

IML labels do not have a separate adhesive layer, but bond with the injected liquid plastic in the injection mould. Thus, after the cooling process, the cup becomes an inseparable unit with the label. This process technology provides you with an individual cup that can be used in almost every conceivable situation. Dishwasher-safe and microwaveable due to the integrated label, the cup thus offers considerable added value and sustainability due to its multiple use. Also obligatory is the advertising effectiveness, which a cup taken home always has. 

Whether you decide to print the upper, the lower or even both areas of the cup using the IML process is entirely up to you. It goes without saying that the cup and lid can be coloured in all PANTONE® Color Institute colours. Effects such as a metallic look or translucent colours, as well as cups that glow fluorescently in the dark, round off the wide range of possibilities for exceptional individualisation of your cups.

The minimum quantity is between 10,000 and 50,000 pieces depending on the article and design. Standard colours can be realised from 10,000 pieces. There are only a few limits to your ideas and expectations of the product.

Further possibilities lie in the design of the IML labels. Looks such as the frost or soft-touch effect, for example, each create a different feel.
